Who is this video about?
Oscar Fernandes (born on March 27, 1941) is a UPA government’s Union Minister of State for Labor and Employment, Government of India. He is a senior Indian National Congress Leader and AICC General Secretary. He was previously elected from his home city of Udipi, in Karnataka and later joined Rajya Sabha. He was also a Member, Council of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, during 1980–1982 and 2000–2004.
He had a penchant for agriculture that made him win the Syndicate Agricultural Foundation Award for the highest yield in paddy and the Karnataka Government State Level Award for agriculture.
