Abstract:
Since the 1990s, China has emerged as the largest market for mobile handsets, attracting major handset manufacturers in the world.
However, despite being an early entrant, Motorola was not able to maintain its lead in China as competitors, especially the local players, were giving a tough time to the company.
Pedagogical Objectives:
To discuss the importance of China as a market for Motorola and what Motorola is doing to counter competition and maintain its leadership in the market.
