  • How should companies go about fostering an "entrepreneurial culture"?
    Through identifying and communicating vision and values, giving people freedom to take initiative, learning from failure and not punishing it in a manner that will stifle future efforts, and ensuring that the rewards are consistent with the culture that the company wants to create.

  • What is the role of top management in creating new businesses within an established company?
    Doing the above is essential to the role of senior management. In addition, visible support makes the value of CE to the company credible and real to employees.

  • Would you like to extend any specific suggestions to the Indian companies?
    India is rich with entrepreneurial talent. More Indian companies could create an environment for this talent to thrive and add to the growing success of Indian firms.
