Abstract:
In the rapidly changing business environment, the importance of managing a project cannot be undermined. In the present scenario, companies have to take appropriate decisions on the complex issues of developmental activities. One of the fundamental and crucial parts of project management is project planning.
The case study delves into the entrepreneurial journey of Prashant Lingam and Aruna Kappagantula, the founders of Bamboo House India (BHI). Established in 2008, BHI aims to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to rural and tribal artisans in the bamboo sector. The case study further gives an understanding as to how the planning and scheduling of tasks has to be undertaken and addressed in BHI. It provides learning opportunities on various aspects of project management. Can BHI reduce the project completion time by using the network analysis?
