This case study showcases the gripping story of a wealthy family that endorses a social change initiative and makes it a formidable success. Not only do the Tuohys clothe and feed Michael, their benevolence makes him a superstar of American football. What makes the Tuohys take up this initiative? The case study provides an opportunity to debate on several sensitive issues – motivational factors for the social change agents, repercussions of racism, plight of the destitute and the possible role of social change agents in social upliftment.
