Abstract:
Ever since the progress of globalisation and liberalisation were set in motion worldwide at the beginning of the 1990s, the world focus shifted to China and India. Both were among the world's fastest growing economies - China with a growth rate of 8-10% and India with a growth rate of 6-7%. The case analyses the political, economic, social and technological environment (PEST) of both the countries. The case also discusses the areas of strength and weaknesses of both the countries in the above four PEST aspects.
