Abstract:
In September 2006, California-based RingCube Technologies released its mobile computing software, MojoPac worldwide. The software could be installed on any device that had an USB port like iPod, USB key-chain drive, mobile phone or any gizmo with digital storage space that was termed a Mojo device after the software installation. The technology behind the software enabled a user to work in a customised computing environment any place any time.
It seemed that MojoPac through its portability and enhanced security features simplified the concept of mobile computing, a concept that the world was introduced to with the advent of laptops in the 1980s.
